Daniel Estrella, 19, is charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Daniel Ellis near the corner of 27th Avenue and International Boulevard at 7:22 p.m. on July 31. A witness who saw the killing later identified Estrella as the shooter in a police lineup at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, according to a probable cause statement by Oakland police Officer Eric Milina.
