A witness described a mob scene at the Stonewood Center shopping mall, 251 Stonewood St., where 15-year-old Steven Fernandez and 27-year-old Keelan Dadd were to appear at a Zumiez skateboarding clothing and gear store about 1 p.m. “As the event drew near, a line formed outside the mall in excess of 2,000 patrons planning to attend the event,” according to a Downey Police Department statement.
