    The Northern York County School Board unanimously voted recently to approve a resolution that calls for the State Board of Education to consider time for building facility additions and appropriate transition plans should a transfer of approximately 300 students from Dover Area School District to Northern York be approved. The resolution was approved a day after the State Board of Education passed its own resolution that included the formation of a special committee to investigate and then report its findings to the full board about the proposed transfer request submitted in 2012 by the Washington Township Education Coalition.
