    A Lowville man accused of having stolen automobile parts was sentenced Friday in Lewis County Court to undergo a drug rehabilitation program as an alternative to state prison time. Tyler K. Thomas, 24, of 5568 Highland Ave., Lowville, was sentenced as a second-felony offender to 1 ⅓ to 3 years in prison but was mandated for the state prison system's 90-day Willard Drug Rehabilitation Program, which allows inmates who successfully complete it to serve the remainder of their prison sentences under parole supervision. 2 comments
