Walk of Fame to be Built in Coleman
The Coleman-Pound Lions Club has been in the process of building a "Walk of Fame" at Lions Point on the south entrance to Coleman on County Trunk CP/Business Highway 141. The club has already has established a flagpole. welcome sign and gazebo. The next project stage is to lay a sidewalk from the street west of the area to the gazebo, which would include a "Walk of Fame". According to Ted Verges, club member, the Walk of Fame will be created by selling memorial lettered bricks to edge the sidewalk. "The bricks will commemorate individuals, families, businesses and organizations of the Coleman-Pound area," Verges said. "The proceeds from the project will be used to build the sidewalk, finance improvements at Lions Point and support other Lions Club charitable contributions. The success of the project in essential on the help of indivduals and businesses." Comment?

The Java Lodge, 743 Dyer St., Crivitz, just recently came out with 11 unique and tasty java drink flavors that blend in with the winter and holiday season. According to owner Eric Myszka, the reason for offering special flavored java drinks is to allow java enthusiasts to experience something different this time of year. A few of the drink choices include Snowflake Latte, a blend of peppermint and vanilla, Silver Bells Cappuccino, a taste of egg nog with a hint of cinnamon, Candy Cane Mocha, peppermint and gourmet dark chocolate, Frosted Cookie Mocha, white chocolate and gingerbread syrup in a smooth latte and Cocoa Cherry Mocha, gourmet chocolate and cherry combined.
