    Last Saturday we attended a truly beautiful Baroque concert, part of the Leaf Peepers Concert series, in Copake, N.Y. Headline musicians: Flutist Eugenia Zukerman, the artistic director designate; violinist Sanford Allen, the retiring artistic director; oboist Virginia Brewer; and on the harpsichord, the ultimate Anthony Newman. I have always thought the title Leaf Peeper Series was sweetly appropriate but it was dramatically emphasized on our gorgeous drive down Route 22. The foliage was unbelievable -- perhaps it's why we live in New England.
