   A local family saved a century old church from destruction. The Benrud family paid $230,000 to move the Norwegian Evangelical Church of Sparta to it's new home and that was after getting the church for free! The church was broken into two pieces, loaded on trucks to the Norskadalen Norwegian Heritage Center in Coon Valley.
