    Trenches are being dug for Sunoco's massive pipeline project, Permian Express 2, which crosses through Nolan County. This staging area, where pipe is being worked and laid, is located south of Sweetwater off of Highway 70. The line will total more 300 miles when complete, bringing crude oil from Garden City to Colorado City, then all the way to Corsicana where Sunoco owns storage tank facilities.
