Meanwhile, the Baton Rouge Advocate reported late Friday that LSU filed its own amendment , asking for information on what happened during the time Chavis showed up on the A&M campus, Jan. 1, and when the Aggies officially announced the hire, Feb. 13. Two weeks ago, Chavis filed a lawsuit in state district court in Bryan, asking a judge to decide whether he owes LSU a $400,000 buyout for leaving his job for the Aggies.
