Dixie Foods International Inc. announced Monday that it had reached an agreement in principal to take over the Papa John's locations at Ashlan and Fowler avenues in Clovis and at Champlain Drive and Shepherd Avenue in northeast Fresno.

Clovis police said the injured man -- who was not named and was taken to an area hospital for treatment -- had brought a "girl he'd been texting in Fresno" to a home south of Bullard Avenue.
