    Work crews recently encountered an estimated 21 tons of buried trash at the new Cheryl Ladd Park in East El Paso in addition to the 13,000-plus tons of refuse that crews already had removed from the site, city officials said Monday. Yesenia Castro, project manager with the city Engineering and Construction Management Department, said the new mound of buried trash was discovered last week at the 6.3-acre park site at 11510 Cheryl Ladd Court near Trawood and George Dieter Drive.
