    A social media post by a concerned citizen of Chillicothe, Ohio alerted volunteers at the Ross County Humane Society of an emaciated dog she found on January 25. Examiner spoke with rescuer Dona Hall and was told that upon arrival at the woman's home, they found a young dog, severely underweight and so weak that he couldn't walk and had to be carried to the vehicle to be transported. The woman suspects that the starving dog was dropped off near her home in the Liberty Hill area of Chillcothe, and since he didn't appear dirty at all, rescuers agreed that he probably isn't a stray. 3 comments
