    Cheshire police have identified the victim in Thursday night's fatal accident as Ji Zheng Cai, 67, of Brooklyn, New York, according to NBC Connecticut. NBC reports that Cai was trying to cross Route 10/South Main Street when he was struck by a car driven by Bonnie Winter, of Cheshire, at about 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 20. Cai suffered life-threatening injuries at the scene and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

    Republican Len Suzio has officially conceded the 13th State Senate District race more than two weeks after he lost a tight contest to Democratic incumbent Dante Bartolomeo. Suzio announced on Friday that he will not ask a judge to review the outcome of the race, despite seeing the margin of his loss dwindle from 614 votes to 214 votes as election officials in Cheshire have amended the results several times since the election, according to the New Haven Register.
