    The Charleston Wine + Food Festival last year attributed a $100,000 dip in Culinary Village ticket sales to one day of heavy rain, but staffers are confident the situation won't repeat this year. “Looks like great weather on Wednesday when the Opening Night Gala takes place, and then good weather without rain through the weekend for Culinary Village,” spokeswoman Cathryn Zommer e-mailed in response to a question about precautions the festival is taking to keep attendees warm and dry.
