The warrant stems from an investigation surrounding a disturbance called in to the Sheriff's Office on February 25, 2015.

    A 22-year-old man has been transferred to St. Mary Parish after being arrested three weeks ago in Iberville Parish on a warrant accusing him of a truck break-in. Latin Boutte, 22, of New Iberia, was booked Tuesday into the St. Mary Parish Correctional Center on a count of principal to simple burglary.

Saturday, May 16, will be the first Chitimacha Race, 20 miles from New Iberia's City Park to the public boat ramp in the Chitimacha Nation near Charenton.
