    The village of Cassadaga is working diligently with the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services to resolve the problems with the new wells. At 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Mayor LeeAnn Lazarony received a call from Stearns and Wheler Engineer Greg McCorkhill informing her that methane gas had been found in the village drinking water.
