    Caryville, Tennessee to Carl and Pearl Disney Smith. She shared 40 years of marriage with Clifford H. Roberts before his death in 1985. Mrs. Roberts lived in Fountain City for several years before moving to Richmond in 1983. She was retired from the former Phillips Recording Company, where she was an inspector. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Richmond. Mrs. Roberts will be missed by her daughters & sons-in-law, Donna & Tom Perry and Julie & Beau Townsend; son & daughter-in-law, Ronnie & Terry Roberts; son-in-law, Chris Buchanan; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, five sisters-in-law and two very special friends, Geraldine Bennett and Lola Brown. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Sandy Buchanan, in 2012; grandson, Michael Daugherty, in 1966; great-grandson, Braden Roberts, in 2002; great-grandson, Sydney Roberts, in 2012; granddaughter-in-law, Shari Daugherty, in 2009; and three brothers, Richard, James and Gene Smith. A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association at www.donatenow.heart.org or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
