    Bail was established at $100,000 Tuesday in Jefferson County Court for a Carthage teenager alleged to have stabbed a Morrison Street man to death March 8. Kyle A. Box, 18, faces second-degree murder charges in the death of Randy J. Bent, 62, of 821 Morrison St. City firefighters had responded to a fire at Mr. Bent's residence, but police began investigating the case as a homicide when firefighters reported to them that Mr. Bent had been found in his home suffering multiple stab wounds. Box allegedly has admitted to police that he stabbed Mr. Bent and set his body on fire in an attempt to cover up the crime.
