    The hot thriller "Gone Girl," which opened nationwide Oct. 3, is introducing audiences to a sliver of southeastern Missouri around Cape Girardeau. If you haven't yet seen the film adaptation of the best-selling Gillian Flynn thriller, there is still plenty to see on the trailers - shots of the Mississippi River, the houses, the courthouse gazebo - that has the entire Cape community buzzing, said Stacy Dohogne Lane, director of public relations for the Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau The bureau has put together a driving tour of filming sites around the city, which plays the role of the fictional North Carthage, Mo., from the book.
