Carlsbad Farm Service Agency Program Technician Stacie Chavez said that while most producers in the area affected by record rainfall in September have already enlisted for the program, those who have yet to report damage still have an opportunity to submit applications through Jan. 16. The Emergency Conservation Program is a cost-share program through the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which provides funds for repairs to property, Chavez said.
