    Deputy Doug Hood was issued a citation for careless driving on Friday following a near-two month long investigation by Cape Coral Police Department Traffic Homicide Investigators into the Aug. 22 crash that resulted in the death of 15 year-old Austin Dukette of Cape Coral, according to a release issued by the Cape Coral Police Department. "The investigation revealed a number of factors contributed to the crash to include environmental conditions, the computer in the patrol car, as well as dark clothing worn by Dukette and inadequate lighting on the bicycle," the release states.
