    The state cross country championship meet is coming to SUNY Canton on Nov. 8, but there will be a preview of the meet on campus Saturday morning. Approximately 1,000 runners from around the state are expected to show up on campus to run the state meet course beginning at 9 a.m. The event will be sort of a dress rehearsal not only for the runners, but for Section 10 officials who will see how prepared they are to host the big event in a few months.
