Recipients of the award must be enrolled in the third semester of ECTC's Practical Nursing program in good academic standing, demonstrate qualities that will contribute to success as a practical nurse and strong, well-rounded abilities in the clinical area, and must provide at least two letters of recommendation from ECTC faculty.

    The 81st annual Caneyville Fair and Homecoming will kick off next Wednesday, Oct. 1 and will run through Saturday, Oct. 4. Starting on Thursday, Oct. 2, Vine St. and 3rd St. in Caneyville will be closed, and traffic will be reversed on 3rd St. to North Main St. for the fair. On Thursday, the annual car show will be held at 5 p.m. and corn hole will be held at 6 p.m. in the new Caneyville Elementary School parking lot; and the Young, Junior, Teen, and Miss pageants will be held in the old Caneyville School gym starting at 6 p.m..
