    A Bucksport man who was involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Orrington last fall was indicted Wednesday by the Penobscot County grand jury on manslaughter, aggravated operating under the influence and other charges, according to Penobscot County District Attorney R. Christopher Almy. Marc Sparks, 29, who was arrested Wednesday, is being held at Penobscot County Jail on $25,000 cash bail, a jail official confirmed.

    All three of the men who impersonated police officers and stole medical marijuana plants from a residence in Winterport have been sentenced as of Friday, Feb. 13. An accomplice's case is still pending. Kerry L. Hurd, 45, of Bucksport, and his brother Jeffrey Hurd, 48, of Glenburn, along with Scott Roberts, 35, of Glenburn were indicted in November 2014 by a Waldo County grand jury on the charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, impersonating a public servant, and criminal trespass.
