    Hector Guemez-Perez, 32, of Bound Brook, was arrested for hindering apprehension after a motor vehicle crash on East Main Street at 4:30 p.m. Miguel Herrejon, 46, of Bound Brook, was arrested for shoplifting and hindering apprehension at The Home Depot, on Promenade Boulevard, at 8 p.m. Police are also investigating a report from a Murphy Drive resident that someone removed her mailbox from her home between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Michael Bercik, 22, of Branchburg, was charged with possession of suspected marijuana after being stopped on Route 28 at about 8:25 p.m. Aug. 23. During the stop, according to the report, Bercik had a medical emergency and was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset for evaluation.
