    City Council is expected to vote in two weeks as to whether it will hire an architectural firm to design a new fire station. Beachwood Fire Department Chief Patrick Kearns made the announcement Monday during a council Committee-of-the-Whole meeting held to discuss the possibility of a fire station that would be built on city-owned land at Richmond Road and Park East Drive.
