    Pepper Pike Receiving stolen property, speeding , driving under suspension, drunk driving, leaving the scene of an accident, probation violation; I-271: A Maple Heights man, 20, was detained by a Beachwood police officer when he fled on foot after rear-ending another car late on Feb. 28. It turned out the 2006 Porsche Cayenne he was driving in the northbound lanes of I-271 was listed as stolen out of Royal Oak, Mich. He struck a 2014 Ford Escape driven by a Lyndhurst woman, 26, who was treated by medics at the scene.

Although not seriously hurt, the driver -- who was wearing a seat belt -- was upset as rescue crews freed her from the cab and attempted to contact Ohio Department of Transportation Warrensville and Euclid garages about salting and plowing the area once the truck was removed.
