    Criminal damage or endangering, Chagrin Boulevard: In responding to a Nov. 2 report of a Cleveland girl, 16, who ran away from the New Directions drug treatment facility, police found the runaway near a Pinetree Road home. Returning her to New Directions, they learned from staff that the girl had bashed in a window on one of the center's vans and leaving small dents across the exterior prior to taking off.

    Beachwood police made ten arrests in connection with shoplifting at various Beachwood Place Mall stores from Oct. 31 to Nov. 6. SHOPLIFTING, CEDAR ROAD: At 7 p.m. on Nov. 6, a man and a teenager were arrested after stealing $288 worth of merchandise from Buckle at Beachwood Place Mall. The teen was charged with robbery, possessing criminal tools and obstructing official business after he fought with officers trying to arrest him.

    More than 18 restaurants offered everything from sushi and ice cream, to cheeseburger soup and barbecue brisket at the sixth annual Taste of Beachwood on Thursday evening at Embassy Suites. More than 200 people paid $30 each to sample a bevy of dishes served by some of the areas finest chefs, all while listening to tunes by the Beachwood High School orchestra at the event put on by the Beachwood Chamber of Commerce.

    Voters in Richmond Heights, Gates Mills and Beachwood decided Tuesday that the municipalities will join more than 180 other Northeast Ohio communities signing up to aggregate their energy services and receive a group rate. Richmond Heights and Beachwood will implement a natural gas aggregation program, while Gates Mills will pool both its electric and gas services.
