3. 6,000 Without Power

   Consumers Energy says about 6,000 customers are without power after a crane hit a power line. It happened at about 5pm in Shiawassee County on M-71 just east of Vernon. Energy officials say customers in Durand, Byron, Lindon and Bancroft are effected. There's no word on when power will be restored.
