    Every spring and fall, Haywood County Animal Services, the Haywood County Health Human Services Agency and veterinarians from several animal hospitals around the county collaborate on a series of Rabies Clinics to encourage citizens to get their pets vaccinated. According to North Carolina law, in order for a rabies vaccine to be current, all dogs, cats and ferrets ages four months old and older must be vaccinated against rabies.
