    Court Appointed Special Advocates recently announced the graduation of the most recent class of CASA trainees, including two Tehachapi women. The Honorable Louie L. Vega swore in the graduates as Court Appointed Special Advocates of Kern County during a special ceremony held at the CASA office in Bakersfield on May 6. Sharon Slaughter and Lorriane Ryan-Bell, both of Tehachapi, completed 32 hours of training which included three full Saturday's in California City and one full weekday of court observation in Bakersfield.
