    One person suffered minor injuries after a car overturned on westbound Banducci Road just past Alps Drive on Jan. 28. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Smith, a female driver was heading back to Stallion Springs at approximately 2:51 p.m. and was apparently distracted while looking at trees along the windy road and lost control of the vehicle. The car overturned and landed 35 feet off the side of the road.

    Tehachapi Police seized approximately $3,700 in counterfeit bills along with counterfeit equipment on Nov. 12. Two people were taken into custody. A domestic dispute led Tehachapi police officers to arrest two on suspicion of counterfeit forgery, according to a Tehachapi Police Department News release.
