According to RPD Captain Eric Murphy, Drew Blackburn, 28, of Arapahoe was arrested for Fighting in Public, Interference and a Fremont County Sheriff's Office warrant.

    Riverton Police may have received a big break in a recent string of major shoplifting incidents when a 36-year-old Arapahoe woman and her 13-year-old daughter were stopped Monday night at Walmart. According to Captain Eric Murphy, the two were stopped allegedly trying to flee the store with four full carts of items.

    A former Lander legislator is making a return trip to the State Legislature after a 10 year absence. Jim Allen will replace Patrick Goggles in House District 33. As the only Native American in the legislature, Goggles did not run for re-election after serving 10 years in Cheyenne saying it was time for someone else to have a chance.

Riverton had recorded over 1,000 votes by 10 a.m. with good turnout in precincts 3-3, 3-4, 3-5 and 3-6 at the Fremont Center, while Delfelder was nearing 150 votes at the Heritage Hall where votes were also cast for Luthy and Reclamation precincts.

    The Federal Bureau of Investigation has charged Yvonne Moss with Assault Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury following the conclusion of the death investigation of Clarence Joseph Tyler. Tyler was found deceased on Oct. 11 at a trailer home in Arapahoe.
