    The annual Antigo Christmas Tree Burn will be held Tuesday evening beginning at 5pm in the Antigo High School parking lot. For over 30 years, the Antigo Optimist Club has organized the burn as a fun way to dispose of Christmas trees at the end of the season.

    The Marathon County Sheriff's Department has not yet released the name of the 39 year old man in custody for leading police on a five hour chase and then, allegedly lighting his place of employment on fire early Sunday morning. Lieutenant Knoeck from the Marathon County Sheriff's Department said the incident actually started around 8 p.m. Saturday when officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at an Antigo residence.

    The Langlade County Sheriff's Department says four people were injured, one seriously, following a three vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Highway 45 north of Antigo. According a press release, the crash happened around 2:45 p.m. On Highway 45 between Highway B and Highway C. Investigators say a SUV driven by Ronald Musselman, 49, of Eagle River was traveling south when he crossed the centerline and struck an oncoming van.
