Our local politicians are now much more aware of the homeless problem and they have received tremendous support at the council meetings. Whether this support has been mostly from homeless' advocates, non-Anaheim residents or residents far from the proposed shelter, it does not matter in terms of defining sustainable, realistic solutions.

More than four month have passed since ARTIC opened, and city officials said that they aren't close to securing a company willing to pay to put its name on the 67,000-square-foot facility, while total advertising revenue during the six months of operation are projected to be $81,675.

Tomorrow night's Anaheim City Council meeting is almost certain to be one of the longest and most contentious on record, at least since July 2012, and I don't want to even compare the environment that night for fear of a repeat. We have numerous issues on the Agenda that will bring out a variety of passionate crowds, and the powers that be are likely to load the Chambers with their own pro forma supporters, ensuring a packed house.

Unexpected anonymous accusation leveled against Santa Ana Councilman Vincent Sarmiento Let's hash this out here and now! It doesn't really belong there, and as an anonymous attack it would normally be something that we frown upon, but it's sufficiently detailed and substantial that instead we're going to post it here and invite both expansion and rebuttal of the charges.
