    Amarillo police are investigating why a woman made a false report that she was abducted at gunpoint Monday morning and forced to drive to a remote location north of Amarillo. The woman, a 24-year-old white female, said she was approached by a Hispanic man in his 40s with visible acne scarring on his face, a goatee and wearing a green army jacket, in the common area of The Granite at Olsen Park apartment complex, 3318 S. Western St. She told police the man pulled a gun and forced the woman to return her car, where he climbed into the passenger seat.
