    Watsonville police revealed this week that they believe eight men are responsible for an October double homicide. As of Wednesday afternoon, six Watsonville men were locked in the Santa Cruz County Jail on first-degree murder charges: Gilberto Ponciano, 25; Juan Carlos Cruz, 21; Roberto Cancino Ramirez, 22; Jimmy Fernando Espinoza, 33; Amado Marshal Hernandez, 20; and Michael Escobar, 31. Two are still at-large and on the run: Marcos Robles, 22, and Brandon Ruiz-Martinez, 20. Detectives said all eight are Norteno gang member who carried out a plot to gun down 33-year-old Ramon Rendon while Rendon was working at the Valley Inn motel on Main Street, according to Sgt.
