Altadena residents on Tuesday, May 19 were advised that Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies from various units and the Los Angeles County Fire Department will be performing target practice in early June on a school campus that will be closed for summer. The training will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 9 at the Charles W. Eliot Arts Magnet Academy , 2184 N. Lake Ave. Only residents of Calaveras Street will be allowed into that block during training, with identification needed for travel between Lake Avenue and Maiden Lane.
