    The production value of Taiwan's semiconductor sector for 2015 is expected to grow about 6 percent from this year largely due to solid demand for mobile devices, according to a recent research report. In the report, The Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute , a market research division of the Taipei-based Institute for Information Industry, said that output of the local semiconductor sector is forecast to grow to NT$2.21 trillion from the NT$2.089 trillion estimated for 2014.
