    The Angels struck the first arbitration case from their winter to-do list Monday by agreeing to a one-year contract with Vinnie Pestano that will pay the right-handed reliever $1.15 million in 2015. Pestano, 30 in February, was traded from the Indians to the Angels in August and combined to post a 2.89 ERA in 18 2/3 innings over 25 appearances in the Majors last season.
