    It has been more than three full calendar years now since the Yankees acquired Michael Pineda, and after two full seasons of wondering whether or not he'd be a bust, the burly righty broke out in a big way last season. Pineda was arguably the Yankees' best pitcher in the final two months of 2014, and if he can remain anything close to the dominant stopper he was in his last eight starts, the Yankees have a very solid option at the top of the rotation for the next three years minimum.
