    FCA has officially announced the expanding of the airbag software update for the Jeep Cherokee and this is bringing the total number of affected Cherokees to a whole new level. According to the North American based automaker, the Jeep Cherokee recall is now covering 68,593 more units worldwide, from the 2014 and 2015 model year, and this is basically bringing the total number of affected cars to 316,774, out of which 230,240 are found in the United States, 28,110 in Canada, 6,367 in Mexico and 52,057 outside the NAFTA region.
