U.S. easily wins Atlanta's Duel in the Pool
The United States cruised to a dominating victory at Duel in the Pool in Atlanta, and the European women's team of Denmark's Jeanette Ottesen , Britain's Francesca Halsall , Belarus' Aliaksandra Heresimenia and the Netherlands' Ranomi Kromowidjojo set a world record in the 400-meter freestyle relay, winning Saturday in 3 minutes, 27.53 seconds.
Double Olympic champion Fabris retires
The Italian was one of the stars of the 2006 Turin Games with gold in the 1,500 meters and team pursuit and bronze in the 5,000, outperforming such favorites like Shani Davis and Chad Hedrick of the United States.
