A party of 12 walked into the lobby of the Temple Theater around 4:30 Monday afternoon, and within a minute it was posing for a group photo.

Bremerton's Bree Schaaf , returning from offseason hip surgery, was third at the national team selection races Saturday in Lake Placid, N.Y. The start record was broken twice Saturday, the final time by Jamie Greubel and Aja Evans who won at 1:56.96. Second place was taken by Jazmine Fenlator and Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones .

If bobsled pilot Bree Schaaf holds up physically during training runs this week in Lake Placid, N.Y., the former Olympian from Bremerton will compete for another spot on the U.S. national team.
