Jeremy Wilson left the University of North Texas College of Music in 2007 to join one of the best orchestras in the world.

University of North Texas alumnus Jeremy Wilson, who landed a prestigious position with the acclaimed Vienna Philharmonic while still a first-year master's student, will return to his alma mater Feb.

Carnegie Hall's announcement of its coming series with the resolutely almost all-male Vienna Phil comes with the usual acknowledgement.

The concerts were filmed live in May 2011 at the Goldener Saal der Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Vienna.

"The Beethoven cycle of the 21st century" proclaims a sticker on these recordings, which were taken from concerts Christian Thielemann conducted in the Vienna Musikverein between December 2008 and April 2010, and which have already appeared on DVD.
