Attention cruise passengers: You now have more protection when things go awry. On Wednesday, Cruise Lines International Association announced the adoption of a new passenger bill of rights.

Rik Emmett has seen it all during his 40 years in the music business. Between 1975-1988 the Toronto guitarist was front man and principle songwriter for the successful power trio Triumph, whose hits "Lay It On the Line" and "Fight the Good Fight" helped albums like Just a Game, Progression of Power, and Allied Forces top the pop charts.

The trio was sometimes overshadowed by Rush, but the bands really were quite different.

The application deadline is Tuesday 11:59 p.m. ET. The grand prize winner will be announced in June and will receive $25,000, performance opportunities at major venues, 20 hours of private studio time at Metalworks Studio with an appointed producer and periodic mentorship with Rik Emmett and Gil Moore from Triumph, 10 hours of studio time in the ...
