Friday night Jan. 20, 2012 one of the best blues guitarist in Louisiana visits the State Theatre in Falls Church with special guest The Cris Jacobs Band.
Think of guitarist Tab Benoit as the Stevie Ray Vaughan of the Louisiana bayou. The Houma, La.-born blues vet and Louisiana Music Hall of Fame inductee is a mainstay of the New Orleans music scene, where he's formed Voice of the Wetlands, an organization dedicated to conserving the natural resources of Southeast Louisiana.

The Crown Room's show of the year Feb. 12 included Voice of the Wetlands AllStars Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Tab Benoit, Cyril Neville and Anders Osborne.
