Students and families will have the chance to hear sweet and soulfully sung holiday tunes, no matter what winter holiday they take part in.

The internationally renowned a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock will perform as part of the 2009-2010 Community Performance Series Guest Artist Series, a oeA Celebration of the Voice,a on Saturday, Nov.

Sweet Honey in the Rock has seen many changes in the past 36 years. The vocal group began in 1973, inspired by now-retired founder Bernice Johnson Reagon's 1960s civil-rights work with the Freedom Singers.

The Kellogg Singers of Kellogg Community College will be joining forces again with the Michigan Festival of Sacred Music to open for the internationally acclaimed group Sweet Honey in the Rock at Miller Auditorium in Kalamazoo Michigan on November 13 at 8 pm.
