Guitarist Derek Trucks and his wife Susan Tedeschi, leaders of the Grammy Award-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band, headlines the Sunday portion of the two-day Santa Cruz Blues Festival in Aptos.

Formed in 2010, Tedeschi Trucks Band has amassed in three years accolades and achievements worthy of an entire career, including the Grammy-winning "Revelator," dazzling live followup "Everbody's Talkin'," and four Blues Music Awards.

It seems like blues-rock mega-outfit Tedeschi-Trucks Band, 11 members strong, must have played in Asheville before.
