Murfreesboro Christian rock group Messenger will perform at Rocketown in Nashville tonight, at a benefit for Christian radio station WAY-FM. When hundreds of people gather at Camp Albemarle in Newport on Saturday, they will be celebrating more than just another pretty summer day on the Crystal Coast.

The post-concert conversation was going well. Local drummer Dennis Markley, in Red Lion to see Christian rock band Sonicflood, had introduced himself to the group's drummer.
