Slightly Stoopid News

Miles and Kyle are the founders and front-guys of the San Diego band Slightly Stoopid, and they've been perfecting their hedonistic, good-time sound since high school, when they were signed to the label imprint run by the late Bradley Newell from Sublime.

The punk-rock outfit, which recently wrapped up a two-month trek alongside Snoop Dogg and Stephen Marley, will return to the States for a Nov.

Shreveport's own Outlaw Nation is back again. The trio will release their newest album, 'New Day,' on Oct.

I'd like to share a story about rocking out so hard I shattered my bones and went to the hospital.

"Everyday is a special day," said Julian Marley backstage, "we get to listen to the music of Snoop Dogg, Slightly Stoopid and Stephen Marley- and every night is like a specialty in atmosphere." Blazed and Confused 2009 kicked off July 10th in Las Vegas for a US tour hitting 20 major cities around the nation.

Snoop Dogg will be performing at The Rialto Theatre with Stephen Marley on Sunday as part of the 'Blazed and Confused' tour.

For Slightly Stoopid, the 2009 concert tour needed some change. "At the beginning of the year, we knew we wanted to do something big and different," said drummer Ryan Moran of the California-based reggae-rock band that has developed a huge following because of its laid-back attitude.
