It's been four years since my favorite band, Rilo Kiley, produced a new album, but luckily for me, frontman Blake Sennet has been hard at work on his side project, The Elected, which has just released its third album --"Bury Me In Rings". The disc's 12 tracks are full of dreamy pop with a 70's vibe.

What sucks about having a bandmate as genuinely talented, charismatic as Jenny Lewis, lead singer and co-songwriter of Rilo Kiley, is that when you step out for a side-project, it's tough for listeners to not automatically be a little disappointed by the lack of star power.
