Latin percussionist Poncho Sanchez is celebrating his 58th birthday today, October 30th, with a brand-new CD.
Poncho Sanchez is a Latin jazz artist, salsa singer, band leader and conguero . In 2000, Sanchez and his ensemble won the Grammy for Best Latin Jazz Album for their work on the Concord Picante album Latin Soul.
Mixing international talent and primo musicians from the Comox Valley, the Waverley is proud to host the Luzna Orchestra, Friday, September 11th.
